Newt’s Is Opening A New Location But Not In Rochester
Newt’s opened in Rochester back in 1980 and it did not take very long for those big juicy burgers to become a favorite with locals. Over time, their menu has expanded to include all sorts of burgers with all kinds of toppings and their footprint has grown to include four locations around town.
Do you know how much beef Newt’s serves up each month now? Those burgers are half-pounders and they serve up a lot of them. According to its website, Newt’s serves up more than 8-tons of beef each month in Rochester. EACH MONTH! That's a lot of beef and soon they'll be serving even more because they are opening a new location, but not in Rochester.
There are currently four spots to get a delicious Newt’s burger in the Med-City and the owners say more restaurants are coming soon.
The atmosphere of Newt’s is warm and welcoming. On a day-to-day basis, you can find each restaurant playing classic rock from the 80s and 90s. The staff is friendly and committed to providing a great dining experience to each and every guest. - creativecuisineco.com/newts/
Dave and Mark Currie confirmed they are building a Newt's in Apple Valley which will open next year and told Jeff Kiger from the Post Bulletin that they hope to open even more if all goes well with that new spot.
The Currie’s Creative Cuisine company owns several restaurants in Rochester including Newt’s, The Redwood Room, Hefe Rojo, City Market, and The Purple Goat.
