In 2016, The Popular Rochester Food Truck Opened A Sit-Down Restaurant

The owners told us that their son had passed away eight years before that and it "was always his dream to have the taco truck and open a business."

Their Facebook post started by thanking everyone for the support:

"Thank you for all the support through these six unforgettable years, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors to store front on 7th ST NW, Rochester, MN."

They explained why the decision was made:

"We looked at the situation every possible way, but in the end, we just couldn’t figure out how to make ends meet considering the drastic reduction in business as a result of recent inflation and the pandemic."

The restaurant will close at the end of the month:

"It's an excruciating decision for us because we love the restaurant, our loyal regulars, and the team of people who made this place what it was. We love what we do and it breaks our hearts to say goodbye. Our last serving day for this location will be WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 28TH, 2023."

The silver lining for loyal customers is the food truck is still available for catering and events and will have a permanent location next to Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe on 7th ST NW.
