Adoptable Rochester, MN Dogs and Their Radio Personality Look-Alikes
Alright, we all know how much I love animals. I volunteer at Paws and Claws Humane Society here in Rochester, MN. I spend lots of time looking at adoptable dogs (and also sending them to my husband... lol). And thanks to an idea from our Townsquare Media market in Billings, I decided I wanted to find the adoptable Rochester dog and their Townsquare Media Rochester radio personality look-alike!
I did my best to find a look-alike for our morning talent, midday talent, and afternoon talent on 106.9 KROC, Quick Country, Y105 FM, and also our two news guys on KROC-AM.
All of these dogs are available for adoption as of writing this story! If you're looking to add a dog (or a cat) to your home, check out Paws and Claws and Camp Companion in Rochester.
Dunken (mornings on 106.9 KROC) + Snoop (Paws and Claws)
Snoop is 1 year and 9 months. He's an active guy who loves people and playing with other dogs.
Carly Ross (mornings on 106.9 KROC) + Hadler (Camp Companion)
Hadler is 1 year and 3 months. He can get scared (he came from a hoarding situation) but is "a total love bug" and is great with other dogs.
Curt St. John (mornings on Quick Country) + Danny (Paws and Claws)
Danny is 3 years old. He's "a go-getter" and would love to be your running/hiking buddy.
Bob (mornings on Y105 FM) + Poppy (Camp Companion)
Poppy is 10 months old. She's sweet and gentle and gets along with other dogs.
Sheri (mornings on Y105 FM) + Buddy (Paws and Claws)
Buddy is 6 months old. He's "a smart little fella" who would like to be rarely left alone at home.
Austyn (middays on 106.9 KROC) + Dixie (Camp Companion)
Dixie is 3 years and 2 months. She's cautious at first but then loves you and has a very loving personality. She can "mouth" though, not bite, out of excitement. She also has allergies that her future home will need to help take care of.
Jess On the Job (middays on Quick Country) + Honey (Camp Companion)
Honey is 3 years old. At first, she would growl and snarl at her foster family but in a few days, she decompressed and softened. She had never been outside until going to Camp Companion.
Michelle Heart (middays on Y105 FM) + Jazz (Paws and Claws)
Jazz is 2 years old. She loves to run around and play. She's very sweet and has a lovely singing voice (she is a hound after all).
Deanna (afternoons on 106.9 KROC) + Odie (Camp Companion)
Odie is 3 years and 1 month. He's friendly to all people and very affectionate. He'd love to be a lap dog (even though he's about 73 lbs) but will lay at your feet too. He currently lives with kids and dogs in his foster home.
Buddy Logan (afternoons on Quick Country) + Rogan (Camp Companion)
Rogan is 2 years and 4 months. He's friendly, playful, and loves car rides. He'd love a big yard! His playstyle is a little rough so no other dog or a dog with a similar playstyle is best and no cats.
Jessica Williams (afternoons on Y105 FM) + Poppy (Paws and Claws)
Poppy is 5 years and 3 months. She's loved every one she's met at the shelter and would do best in an active home. She loves toys and snacks (great for training). She's also done well with other dogs and cats but they recommend her still being the only animal in her future home.
TJ Leverentz (KROC-AM) + Chippewa (Camp Companion)
He doesn't look it but Chippewa is 7 years and 3 months! He's a cuddly guy who loves to run around in the fenced-in backyard at his foster home. He gets along with other small dogs, big dogs are a little much, and was a wiggle butt when he saw kids on the playground.
Andy Brownell (KROC-AM) + Moose (Paws and Claws)
Moose is 5 years and 5 months. He's energetic so he needs a home that will give him the proper exercise. He's wiggly and fun but also needs some doggie classes to work on his manners and basic commands.
