Rochester Community Warming Center Looking for Volunteers
The Rochester Community Warming Center will open its doors by Sunday, December 15th and volunteers are needed. The Warming Center is available to those who are without a home in the cold winter months and will be open every night from 9 PM until 7 AM.
If you would like to volunteer, the Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota group who puts together the Warming Center, asks that people volunteer in teams. You could form a team with your co-workers, church, friends, etc. One person will be the Community Partner who will decide which two nights a month the group will serve.
Individuals are also welcome to volunteer, anyone who wants to help out at the Warming Center is welcome.
