Rochester Dick’s Sporting Goods Closing

Rochester's Dick's Sporting Goods, located at the Shoppes on Maine, will be closing soon.
Craig Alomnd of Huntersville, NC marketing firm WME-IMG confirmed the closing to the Post Bulletin : "Our Rochester, MN store at the Shoppes on Maine (4603 Maine Ave. SE) will be closing at the end of January."

A statement from Dick's was posted to KAAL-TV's website: "Our Rochester, MN store at the Shoppes on Maine (4603 Maine Ave. SE) will be closing at the end of January.  We look forward to continuing to serve the sports and outdoor enthusiasts of the Rochester community through our websites - dicks.com; fieldandstreamshop.com and golfgalaxy.com."

It's not known how many people will be losing their jobs.

The sporting goods retail store opened back in 2007.
