Rochester K-9’s to Compete Nationally
They've been working their tail off all week, and now they are headed across the country to compete.
"Officer Clement & K-9 Wrecker along with Officer Blazejak & K-9 Riot left early this morning for Foley, Alabama where they will compete with Police dogs from around the country at the National USPCA Field Trials. These guys put in a lot of hard work and we wish them the best of luck next week!" This according to their Facebook Page.
USPCA is United States Police Canine Association, and it's the Nation’s Oldest and Largest Police K-9 Organization.
The United States is broken down into various ‘Regions’ that participate and hold field trials each year. Those teams meeting top scores are invited to attend the National Police Dog Field Trials where the National Champion is selected. This according to the USPCA Website.
The competition is a week long. Let's wish these guys the best of luck!
