A beautiful event is coming up in a few days in Rochester, Minnesota. If you like celebrating and admiring local art, this is perfect for you!

The annual Med City Art Festival is coming up on Friday, August 22nd, and it will feature many local artists of all sorts of varieties. There will be artists who create visual works of art to display, there will be musical artists performing, and also performing artists.

You can be an artist yourself at the event, too, because there will be opportunities to create your own art.

There will also be Flamenco, Chinese, and Latin dance performances on the stage. Some will offer classes so you can learn how to dance, too.

The day ends with musical performances starting at 6 PM.

Something really cool that they mention on their website is that if there isn't a performer on the stage, the stage is open for anyone to hop up and sing, dance, read poetry, whatever!

Tons of vendors will also be at the Med City Art Festival for you to admire their work and maybe take home a piece of original art to add to your decor.

And of course, there will be many opportunities to be an artist yourself!
