Suspicious Job Posting Leads People to Think Rochester Might be Getting a Raising Cane’s

We may finally be getting a Raising Cane's in Rochester, MN! It has been years of people asking for one, and based on a recent job posting, our wish might be coming true. MAYBE. I'll explain why it's a big maybe in a moment.

Sometimes we like to ask on our Facebook what you think Rochester needs, and a lot of the time, many, many people say a Raising Cane's.

There are quite a few Raising Cane's locations in the Twin Cities. I've had Cane's a few times, and it is really good. The sauce is the big selling point for me (and a lot of people).

Now, Rochester may finally be getting a Cane's location. A job posting was spotted on Indeed, listed under Rochester, MN, for a Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane's.

Interesting... there isn't a Cane's in Rochester... yet. Which is why this is making everyone think a Cane's is finally coming to town.

Before we get too excited, though, the job posting is making me question things. The reason is because of how the posting is worded.

At the top of the job description, the listing says:

RELOCATION FOR GM OPPORTUNITY FOR TWIN CITIES, MN

 

So... does that mean they're trying to recruit someone from Rochester to move to the Twin Cities to be a General Manager at a Cane's? Or are they looking to move someone from the Twin Cities to Rochester to open a Cane's here?

I hope the latter is true, but my money is on the former, that they're looking for someone to move from Rochester to the Twin Cities. And if that's the case, rude.
