Rochester Psychologist Explains How to Talk about the Ariana Grande Terrorist Attack with Kids
This morning we received numerous calls from parents seeking advice on how to talk to their kids about the attack that happened last night after an Ariana Grande concert in England. Our friend Heather, who is a psychologist, called in and offered these tips:
At least 22 people were killed, and close to 60 were injured, when a bomb went off outside an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England last night. Police believe it was the work of a suicide bomber. British Prime Minister Theresa May called it, quote, "an appalling terrorist attack." President Trump called those responsible "losers." The Department of Homeland Security is closely monitoring the situation, and they say they have no information about a similar threat to a music venue in the U.S.
