It was 20-below this morning when I saw a story about how it's going to be 40 to 50-degrees warmer this upcoming weekend - I laughed (because I didn't want to cry) thinking that the highs temps will still be below freezing.

There's no better way to warm up when it's this cold than a bowl of piping hot soup and there are several restaurants in town that have delicious options on their menus. Below you'll see the top spots for soup according to Yelp.

1) Pho Chau 1014 N. Broadway - Pho Chau serves authentic Vietnamese food. Make sure you have plenty of time when you order the Pho (Vietnamese soup)  The serving size is HUGE.

2) Wabi-Sabi 1505 12th St - Wabi Sabi has Udon Noodle Soups, Ramen Noodle Soups, and Pho Noodle Soups.

3) Canadian Honker 1203 2nd St SW- Every year I serve soup at Channel One's Empty Bowls event and the Honker's soups always go fast! Try their chicken wild rice - it's so good!

4) Hollandberry Pannekoeken 214 N Broadway - They serve split pea soup daily along with other homemade soups.
