Rochester Salvation Army Announces Two Challenge Matches

The ongoing Red Kettle fundraising campaign by the Rochester Salvation Army is down to its final few days and two more challenge matches have been announced.

 One will be held Friday and involves an $8,000 challenge from several businesses and individuals.

A larger match challenge will take place Saturday. The $40,000 challenge match is being offered by  Rochester Motor Cars, Think Mutual Bank, Henry & Jeanne Brandt Family Challenge Match and an anonymous foundation gift.

The Salvation Army says it still needs volunteers to man the kettles through the end of the drive, which will 5 p.m. Christmas Eve.
