Thai-riffic in Rochester has been closed for a few weeks. But good news, they'll be re-opening in just a few days!

One of the biggest hang ups that they'll continue to face, though, is that they're located on 2nd Street in front of St. Mary's. Yeah, you know, the area that's so under construction it's ridiculous trying to get to businesses there.

Thai-riffic in Rochester Closed Temporarily

Thai-riffic announced on June 10th that they would be closing, at least temporarily. The owner wrote in the announcement: "We're closed while I attend class until the end of the month."

The original plan was to re-open today, July 1st, but that unfortunately didn't happen. They are, however, re-opening only a few days late.

Yesterday, they made the announcement that they will be re-opening on Wednesday, July 8th.

They also announced that there will be some changes to the menu:

Support 2nd St. Businesses in Rochester

I mentioned earlier that the big issue they'll continue to face is the construction that's right outside their business.

During tough times like that for a business, it's important to get out and support them if you can. In addition to Thai-riffic, other business on that strip that are being heavily impacted by the construction are Uni Uni, Canadian Honker, Cafe Steam, and Francisco's.
