Rochester’s Bookmobile Will Look a Lot Different Next Time You See it
Cool news for Rochester's Bookmobile - It's getting a makeover. The Bookmobile has been running in Rochester for 6 years and is the busiest one in Minnesota traveling approximately 8,500 miles and making over 70 stops every two weeks.
All next week, the Bookmobile will be off the road and getting a new look. According to Kim Edson, Head of Readers' Services, the Bookmobile will have new colors and a new logo. The makeover will begin Monday, November 12th and will be revealed to the public on Monday, November 19th with a celebration outside of the library. The event starts at 8:30a and runs until 10a, with free coffee and donuts.
The Rochester Public Library put the Bookmobile to work to strengthen the community and enrich the lives of community members who are unable to use the main library due to geographic, transportation, economic or other barriers.
