Scotty’s Top 6 Underrated ‘Good’ Smells
It's an odd topic to discuss, yes. But seriously hear me out for a second.
So yesterday for lunch I hit up Pasquale's Neighborhood Pizzeria with a couple friends from work for some much-needed sustenance. If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend it by the way.
Well the second we walked through their doors, we were immediately hit with that delicious aroma of fresh herbs, mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce... and oh man did it get us excited to eat!
We all must have been thinking the same thing because we all looked at one another and said how great that smell is and how underrated it is.
So that got us thinking... what other smells would you toss into this category?

Chlorine
C'mon, this one has to be at the top of anyone's list. Anytime you walk into a hotel lobby, it's almost a given you're gonna catch a whiff of their pool that's somewhere nearby. The smell of chlorine always brings me back to my childhood when I'd do almost anything to get an extra 10 minutes to swim in the pool... just don't open your eyes for too long underwater though, because that just sucks if there's too much in it.

The Smell of Gasoline
Am I the only one who looks forward to filling up their gas tank so they can smell the gas at the pumps?
I am? Well, OK then.
- 3
The Smell of Rain
There's something about rain that makes everything smell so fresh and new during a rain shower. If one's happening during the weekend, I love sitting outside and taking it all in because it's so calming. Love it.

Freshly Mowed Grass
After a long and brutal winter, the refreshing scent of a freshly mowed lawn is pretty welcoming.
Plus, I used to work at a golf course back in college, so being outdoors every morning at the crack of dawn to mow the fairways was always awesome to me.

That "New Car" Smell
This is probably the most random smell on here, but if people didn't truly enjoy it, then why is there an air freshener scent out of it? Exactly.

Buffalo Wild Wings
OK, so maybe this one isn't underrated but it's still straight up glorious.
Anytime you're around Marketplace Shopping Center on 55th street, you can't help but catch the appealing aroma of Buffalo Wild Wings. I mean, it's almost torturous for me. I try and avoid that area of town at all costs unless I'm actually going there to eat because I love it so much. It's seriously that bad...
