Sex Offenders in Rochester – Where Not to Trick-or-Treat
Trick-or-treating is one of the most iconic and memorable parts of Halloween. Haven’t we all, at some time in our lives, enjoyed cruising our neighborhood in outrageous costumes and collecting more candy than any kid could ever possibly need? We used to make our Halloween candy last until Christmas!
In this day and age, however, it’s also important to focus on safety. While Rochester is fortunate not to have an overabundance of sex offenders living here, it can be valuable to have a general idea where those people live in case you’re worried about any potentially harmful situations that could arise on Halloween night.
According to City-Data.com, there are 28 registered sex offenders living in Rochester as of October 22, 2019. The interactive map on the City-Data website shows where some of the registered sex offenders are said to reside.
While not all of them are registered for something involving kids, and predators can be anywhere, it's still probably safest to go ahead and keep your children away from these houses this Halloween.
