New Silver Lake Pool Opens Soon in Rochester

Rochester's newest pool is opening soon for the summer! It's the Silver Lake Pool, which, yes, used to be a thing, but this is totally re-done. We got a little sneak peak today and it looks awesome.

Silver Lake Pool in Rochester, MN

Silver Lake Pool and Splash Pad opens on Monday, June 8th.

The pool looks so nice, especially on a warm day like today. I just wanted to jump in there, but figured that'd be frowned upon.

It includes a climbing wall, a basketball hoop, and a zipline.

The splash pad looks really fun, too, with plenty of water features, including a big tank of water that dumps on everyone once it fills up.

When is Silver Lake Pool Open?

Operating hours for open swim are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday noon - 8 PM and Tuesday and Thursday noon - 5 PM. They'll close for the season sometime in August. The official date is to be determined, but I'm sure it'll be the end of August when the kids go back to school.

Silver Lake Pool Passes

Passes to get into Silver Lake Pool are $5 for adults (18+), $3 for kids 3-17, and $2 for kids 2 and under and adults who are supervising but not swimming.

They also offer punch cards for 10 visits for $25.

I hope the pool is a big success! I would imagine it would be with how popular the Soldier's Field Aquatic Center was when it opened. See you at the pool!
