Every once in a while Minnesota is selected as a testing spot for new foods. And Taco Bell really seems to love us, so it's not too surprising that they decided to test out their new menu item on us Minnesotans.

Taco Bell Loves Minnesota

I say that Taco Bell loves Minnesota because they opened their very first two-story, futuristic drive-thru in Brooklyn Park, MN called Taco Bell Defy. Why not Vegas or LA? I don't know! I'm definitely not mad that they picked Minnesota as the first spot.

Taco Bell Testing Chicken Nuggets

Now, Taco Bell is giving us something else new: their chicken nuggets. Yes, Taco Bell is hopping on the chicken nugget train and they're testing them out right here in Minnesota.

These nuggets are just plain 'ol nuggets. Nation's Restaurant News writes that they're "marinated in spicy jalapeno buttermilk, then breaded and fried." So they'll be a little spicy! There are also two sauce options: the signature Bell sauce or the hot and sweet jalapeno honey mustard sauce.

Where You Can Try the Taco Bell Chicken Nuggets

I haven't been able to find exact locations where you can try these chicken nuggets yourself. However, I do know that they are testing the nuggets in the "Minneapolis market". So if you're in a suburb of Minneapolis you'll likely be able to try them out.

I've also seen that they're available at 80 locations in the Minneapolis area so you should have no problem finding them. I would assume that they'd be available at the fancy Taco Bell Defy in Brooklyn Park.

If you try them, let me know how they are! I love nuggets and spicy food so this sounds right up my alley.
