On Tuesday Dakota County Sheriff Joe Leko said three vehicles were involved in a head-on crash.

She was 18 years old.

He was accused of fatally shooting her in the parking lot of an Amazon warehouse.

He was 17 years old.

The deadly crash is under investigation.

It was the second deadly traffic crash to occur in Dakota County since the start of the Labor Day Holiday travel period.

The State Patrol says the victim of the crash was driving the vehicle that crossed over the center line.

He was being brought back to Minnesota by the Dakota County Deputies when he escaped on Thursday.

The crash happened at an intersection near Farmington.

The young child's death was blamed on acute fentanyl toxicity.
