The drugged driving arrests are fueling a large increase in arrests for impaired driving throughout the county through the first nearly six months of 2024.
The charges indicate law enforcement had been following the Rochester man as part of a drug trafficking investigation and believed he was buying drugs in the Twin Cities then bringing them to Rochester to sell.
The Rochester Police Department and other law enforcement agencies conducted the traffic stop north of Rochester in the area of Hwy. 52 and 85th St. Northwest around 12:20 Thursday morning.
