Target is ready to settle a class-action lawsuit filed following it's huge data breach back in 2013. A $10 million dollar fund will be established for victims and each one will be eligible for up to $10,000 compensation.

Those that had their information compromised will have to fill out a claim form which asks if they used a credit or debit card at any U.S. Target store between Nov. 27, 2013 through Dec. 18, 2013 and whether they were caused harm by the data breach.

According to an article in USA Today, you must be able to say that you experienced at least one of the following to be eligible:

- Unauthorized, unreimbursed charges on their credit or debit card

- Time spent addressing those charges

- Fees to hire someone to correct their credit report

- Higher interest rates or fees on the accounts

- Credit-related costs

- Costs to replace their identification, Social Security number or phone number

Target officials first need approval from a federal judge - A hearing is set for today.  We'll provide you updated information including a link to the claim form when it becomes available.
