This two-day smorgasbord of food and fun celebrates everything we love about Minnesota: great music, fabulous food, outdoor family fun, a few surprises and really great people-watching!

Minnesota is gearing up for an incredible summer experience – the FREE Taste of Minnesota festival, blending the best of food and music. Originally launched in St. Paul in 1983, the festival took a break after 2010 but successfully returned in 2023. Now, it's making a comeback this summer on July 6 and 7, promising an amazing celebration of culinary delights and music.

Taste of Minnesota Is July 6th & July 7th

Last year, approximately 120,000 people attended the event, and organizers are anticipating an even larger crowd this year. They have ambitious plans to expand the festival's space to accommodate more food vendors, aiming for a total of 60 compared to the 23 from last year.

Beyond being a food haven, the Taste of Minnesota festival is known for its outstanding musical performances.

Third Eye Blind, Uncle Kracker, and Big Boi (from Outkast) headlined last summer and this year's lineup has just been unveiled, promising another round of fantastic music for everyone attending.

Saturday, July 6th, The Wallflowers will take the stage at 4:45 pm, and country legend, Martina McBride will headline with a show starting at 6:30 pm. Sunday's entertainment includes Morris Day & The Time and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.


Taste of Minnesota will take place at Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis and is a free event, but you do need an RSVP ticket.
