Chicago makes the list with places like Washington DC, Death Valley, Vail (Colorado), and Las Vegas. Why is Chicago such a great place to spend your November? On the site, they say...

I couldn't agree more with this article! November is a great time to travel across the United States, the southern states like Florida, Texas, and Arizona can give you that heat you are craving, but the big cities like Chicago come alive in the fall. You do have to be careful because there were times when I would go to the Thanksgiving parade in Chicago and the temps were below freezing...you have been warned!
