Filming Wraps at Twigs for Upcoming ‘America’s Best Restaurants’ Episode

We've been lucky enough to have multiple restaurants in Rochester featured on the online series 'America's Best Restaurants', but filming just wrapped a few days ago, this time featuring Twigs!

Twigs is a delicious restaurant that's gluten-friendly (they have an entire kitchen that's gluten-free) because the owner, Michelle Salz, was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. She wanted to create "a unique and safe gluten-free dining experience."

She worked with Chef Luci to create amazing dishes that could also be gluten-free.

We pay close attention to our menu and only add new items when we can create gluten-free versions that don't sacrifice quality or flavor.

I think it's a no-brainer that Twigs be featured on something like 'America's Best Restaurants', so I'm really happy they were able to do just that.

Twigs on 'America's Best Restaurants'

In case you aren't familiar, 'America's Best Restaurants' is an online series where the hosts go around the US featuring restaurants that are independent restaurants who have applied to be featured on the show.

During filming, the host meets the owner(s) and learns about the history of the restaurant and what they're all about. They get a peek inside the kitchen at how some of the dishes are made. They also get to sample some of the dishes and drinks at the restaurants. What a fun job!

Twigs shared that filming wrapped on Friday, July 24th. They also shared that in the episode they featured their Waffles & Fried Chicken Tenders, Roasted Red Pepper Burrata, and Velvet Roasted Poblano Crema.

I'm not seeing a tease saying when the episode will come out, so keep an eye out for that hopefully soon.
