Twin Cities Man Turns Basement into Ice Skating Rink

Most guys want a bar or a man-cave in their basement. Darin Blume isn't most guys. The Twin Cities man wanted to transform his basement into an ice skating rink. His kids were naturally on-board with the idea right away, but it took a little convincing to get his wife to okay the project. Once Darin's wife signed off on the plan the couple went to work and now their basement features a 300-square-foot rink complete with synthetic ice.

It's quickly becoming the place to be in their neighborhood. Area kids come to play and their parents tag along to watch. Check out the video below from KARE 11:
