Twins Legend Jack Morris Gives Perfect Answer to ‘Game 7′ Question
This was just one of the many highlights of a sold out Twins Winter Caravan put on by the Minnesota Twins in Rochester.
Do the Twins plan on making a run and signing free agent pitcher Yu Darvish? How difficult is it to set the perfect lineup every day? Does adding Twins great Justin Morneau to your staff add another element to your organization? Those were just a few of the many questions asked during a fun Q&A session at the 2018 Twins Winter Caravan at the Kahler Apache this January in Rochester.
This year's Caravan was packed with an amazing lineup of speakers. We heard from GM Thad Levine, VP of Business Development Laura Day, former Twin and current Twins Radio Broadcaster Dan Gladden, future Hall of Fame pitcher Jack Morris, 2017 A.L. Manager of the Year Paul Molitor and current players Eduardo Escobar and Alan Busenitz.
But if any moment truly stood out, it was a question from the audience directed towards Jack Morris about how the conversation went between he and then Twins Manager Tom Kelly on the mound during one of the greatest Game 7's in World Series history.
Here's what he had to say:
Classic! You've gotta love that man.
I had an absolute blast emceeing the event, and I look forward to doing it again for future Caravans in Rochester. If you couldn't make it this year, be sure and make a mental note to buy a ticket next time because this event is truly unique and a great fan experience for everyone!
