Watch as Cross Country Runner Gets Taken out by Deer!

Who says cross country isn't a contact sport?

Like a scene out of 'Jurassic Park,' a herd of deer (a pack of deer?) decided to crash a competitive cross country meet and run right through it.

Unfortunately for Gwynedd Mercy University’s Justin DeLuzio, he got the short end of the stick...

The video is super short, so it's hard to initially catch the impact the animal makes against the runner in the red uniform towards the middle of the pack... but once you see it, OUCH!

Can you imagine if that thing had antlers? Justin would have been impaled, easily!

That was nice open field hit, although the deer should've wrapped him up. Honestly, I think the Vikings could take lessons from the deer, considering the way they've been tackling the past couple games! Too soon?

Seriously though, I hope that kid's okay!
