New Restaurant & Food Retailer Opening in Rochester
Rochester’s food scene continues to grow with new restaurants popping up across the city. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse opened back in June, Mill Valley Kitchen opened in August, Lumi just opened in downtown Rochester, and Ichiddo Ramen is on the way.
There are plenty of great food options in the Minnesota's Med-City, and another one is opening soon. The other night, I noticed a "coming soon" sign on an empty storefront, revealing that yet another exciting new spot is on the way.

This isn't your typical restaurant. The company is best known for selling pre-made meals you can take home, heat up, and enjoy. They have catering options and a lunch menu featuring premium ham and turkey sandwiches, salads, and more.
The Honey Baked Ham Company Is Opening in Rochester
The Honey Baked Ham Company's history dates back to 1936 when Harry J. Hoenselaar invented the first spiral-slicing machine, revolutionizing how ham is prepared.
He patented the invention in 1944 and opened the first Honey Baked store in Detroit in 1957. Since then, the company has become famous for its signature bone-in smoked hams.
Rochester's Honey Baked Ham Co. will be near Buffalo Wild Wings North at 3462 55th St NW #200.

The company's website lists "coming soon" for Rochester, but has store hours beginning the weekend before Thanksgiving.
