Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - Remember last week’s winter storm that hit southeast Minnesota and earlier predictions that it could dump 3- 7 inches of snow in the region - maybe even more?

Totals ended up on the lower end of the expectations, with 3 ½ inches in Rochester.

There are new rumblings about another winter storm that could - might - may - hit the region Sunday.

The National Weather Service office in La Crosse is taking a cautious approach to this storm - “ plenty of uncertainty remains regarding the track of that storm.” The office is also emphasizing, “ Just a small shift one direction or the other will make a big difference in who sees wintry precipitation versus mainly just rain.”

So, at this point it’s just a heads-up. But, it maybe something to think about if you are planning on leaving home to watch Sunday’s Vikings game, which has a scheduled 5:40 PM kickoff.
