Winter Weather Advisory Just Issued for Rochester and Most of SE Minnesota
Your Tuesday morning commute could be very difficult. Freezing drizzle and snow through the evening hours will create rough travel conditions which could linger into Tuesday's commute. The National Weather Service has just expanded a Winter Weather Advisory to include Rochester and most of southeast Minnesota.
The NWS in La Crosse says, "Looks like the threat for freezing drizzle tonight into Tuesday morning is increasing, with a glaze of ice possible area-wide. Therefore, we have expanded the Winter Weather Advisory to cover the entire area. Some roads could remain slick into the morning commute, so be prepared for slow travel at times. Also, this is definitely a case of a degree or two in temperature making a large difference, so road conditions could change over short distances."
And in case you missed it, a significant storm is headed this way on Friday.
