What's your bad restaurant experience? Was it something you saw? Something you ate? If you're reading this on our app tap here to tell us your story and remember your voice might be used on-air. if you don't have our app you can download it here.

Have you ever sat down to eat at a restaurant and questioned the cleanliness of the establishment or received your food and wondered if it was fully cooked and if it is safe to eat?  Having access to that place's health inspection report would probably provide you with a little peace of mind right? Or maybe you'd see it and never eat at that restaurant again? Minneapolis has launched an online "Health Inspection Report Lookup" which allows residents to check on local businesses including:

  • Adult and childcare centers
  • Bakeries
  • Bars (food only)
  • Caterers
  • Coffee shops
  • Convenience stores
  • Food shelves
  • Food trucks
  • Ice cream carts
  • Grocery stores
  • Meat markets
  • Restaurants

I think the public should have access to these reports because there are safety concerns and I'd love for Rochester to offer something similar.
