WWE SummerSlam Rules: What’s Allowed inside U.S. Bank Stadium (And What’s Banned)

WWE is getting ready to take over the Twin Cities with one of its biggest events of the year. Fans from around the world will flock to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for SummerSlam 2026 on August 1 and 2.

If you’re heading to the event, there are some very specific rules (and a surprisingly early start time) you need to know about.

What Time Does SummerSlam 2026 in Minnesota Start?

I think 7:00 PM is the standard start time for most events whether they're concerts or sporting events, but SummerSlam starts much earlier each night. According to the US Bank Stadium website, this WWE event will start at 4:30 PM each night.

The broadcast starts at 5:00 PM each night and can be streamed exclusively on ESPN Unlimited.

Are Tickets Still Available to Summerslam in Minnesota?

Tickets are still available online, but you can win a pair too. Just fill out the form at the bottom of this story to be entered.

Fans can also purchase a 'fake' ticket. When you buy your ticket through Ticketmaster you're given the option of adding a souvenir ticket. I used to have a bunch of ticket stubs from various concerts so I can appreciate how they are cool collectibles, but I'm not paying for $30 for a fake ticket.

What You Can and Can't Bring into Summerslam at US Bank Stadium

WWE has implemented a clear bag policy for its events. 

Permitted Bags and Items

• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12”x12”x6” are permitted.
• 1 Gallon plastic zip lock style bag
• Non clear clutch style bag or purse not to exceed 4.5” x 6.5”
• Diaper bags as well as any bag used for the purpose of carrying medical equipment will be allowed access, after being screened
• Signs are permitted to our events. Verbiage will be monitored by venue and WWE personnel
• Masks are permitted at WWE events, but not while moving through arena or stadium

Prohibited Items

• Any type of non clear bag exceeding 4.5” x 6.5” including purses or handbags
• Backpacks, camera or computer bags
• Cameras with detachable lenses
• Video Cameras or Recording Devices
• Laser Pointers or Noise Makers
• Weapons of any kind
• Alcoholic Beverages, Illegal Drugs or Paraphernalia
• Selfie Sticks
• Lap Top Computers or Tablets
• Coolers
• Luggage of any kind
• Money In The Bank Briefcases are not permitted to be brought into the venue
• Country Flags
• Drones
• Animals except service animals
• Any other item deemed inappropriate by venue or stadium personnel
