BREAKING: Adam Schefter Says Minneapolis to Be Awarded 2028 NFL Draft
U.S. Bank Stadium has successfully hosted some of the biggest events in sports and entertainment. Super Bowl 52 was played there, Taylor Swift rocked the stadium with her Eras Tour, and the venue is set to host WWE's SummerSlam later this year.
But now, the home of the Vikings is reportedly snagging the ultimate NFL offseason prize: the NFL Draft.

BREAKING: Adam Schefter Says Minneapolis to Be Awarded 2028 NFL Draft
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Minneapolis will get the draft with a formal announcement on Tuesday.
Hundreds of thousands of fans will flock to Minneapolis for the draft, which is more than picks behind a podium. The NFL has turned the draft into an event; it's basically a massive, football-themed carnival.
The NFL really leans into the fan experience during the draft, giving people the chance actually to get in on the action. You can test your arm with a Hail Mary long-distance pass, race against a digital pro on a giant LED wall in the 40-Yard Dash, or see if you’ve actually got the leg to nail a Field Goal like the pros.
There are plenty of exhibits to check out. You can grab a photo at a replica Draft Set and pose like you’re the #1 overall pick, or get an up-close look at all 59 Super Bowl rings. They even set up a mini Hall of Fame featuring the iconic bronze busts and legendary trophies.
This is a giant win for the city. The economic impact on restaurants, hotels, bars, etc., in Minneapolis is going to be huge. The draft is being held at the National Mall in D.C. next April, and then the party is likely coming here in 2028.
