Your Christmas Lights Could Be Screwing up Your WiFi

OfCom, a British tech company, just released a study on the impact that Christmas lights have on your Wi-Fi internet .

If you notice Netflix or YouTube buffering a lot, or if your favorite websites are taking too long to load, try unplugging your lights!

The company found that the electromagnetic interference from the holiday decorations MIGHT actually slow down your service. The watchdog says millions of homes and offices could be suffering from slower-than-normal connection speeds. The company says a lot of wireless networks are not set up correctly and/or suffered “interference” from electronics like Christmas lights.
