2 Rochester Men Start A Healthy Snack Company

Jeffery Schmidgall and Jared Menzel of Rochester say they thought up "Bubba's Fine Foods" while on a camping trip.  Jared AKA, Bubba, had recently started eating clean and noticed that the clean foods offered at convenience stores were lacking in taste. So he started experimenting and creating his own snacks. Jeff is a CrossFit Trainer and Health Coach and while their families were camping together Jeff tried and loved Jared's crunchy snack mix so he pushed his brother-in-law to start a business. One month later the first bag of Bubba's Snack Mix was sold.

The two were recently featured on Fox 47:

According to their website:

"the ingredients are simple, minimally processed, and carefully selected.  We use only non-GMO foods.  Every product is grain-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free.  We never use refined sugars, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors, preservatives, or cheap oils."
