It's happened to me - here's my story.  One night, my best friend and I were out at the bar.  She's notorious for poking fun at people's height (specifically guys that are shorter than her), because she's so crazy tall.  She means no harm, but some people don't understand that.  This particular night, she was joking with this guy who was noticeably upset with her, so we went back inside the bar.  Not long after, the guy got our attention and had shots sitting on the bar for us.  I apologized for her, and he said it was cool, he just wanted to buy us a drink to show us he wasn't upset.  Right.... That night, I watched my friend get carried out by a guy friend of ours because she couldn't even stand anymore, and me, it took a little longer to hit me.  BUT, when it did, it hit me hard.  My boyfriend at the time thought I was going to die because I was sweating and shaking that whole night, and I couldn't talk or walk.  Fortunately we were surrounded by our friends at the bar so we both made it home safe, BUT some people aren't as lucky as us!
