The clock continues to tick towards the day of ghouls, ghosts and CDC virus containment workers???

I showed you the epitome of crappy costumes a couple weeks ago when an online costume shop made the 3-boobed lady costume, but the ante has been upped with the introduction of the Ebola containment suit.  Brandsonsale.com is selling the costume that comes complete with:

  • Ebola White Costume Suit
  • Ebola Face Shield
  • Breathing Mask
  • Safety Eye Goggles
  • Blue Latex Gloves

You'll have to fork out money somewhere else for the boots since those don't come with the costume.  The costume might be funny to some, but the price isn't: $79.99.  Yikes.  That's a lot to look tacky.

Then again, maybe I'm just being over-sensitive.  It has, after all, "only" killed 4493 people in 2014, according to the CDC.  And sure, we've seen a handful of cases in the United States(I could have sworn someone said that was "very unlikely..?") but we've been told to rest assured that the chances of an outbreak would take "extraordinary circumstances"(wait, wasn't that the same guy that said it was unlikely we'd have it here in the first place...?)  Plus, we're in the "Med City!"  We can treat those who become infected, and area residents seem to be "OK" with that, right?  But even if someone on Mayo's staff gets infected, it's not like they'll get blamed for catching the virus, wouldn't you say?

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and stick with this being tacky...  Agree or disagree?
