I feel that dog moms deserve a little love for Mother's Day too.  I've had Khuno since he was a puppy, and he'll be 5 this coming fall.  I definitely feel like I have a toddler at home, minus the whole being able to leave him at home for a few hours knowing he'll be just fine!  Well, typically I don't treat myself on Mother's Day, but this year, I am!!!!!  I've been struggling with this whole barking issue for almost 5 yeeeeeears, and it's gotten real old.   I've tried quite literally everything I can think of.  We've talked about it on air before, begging listeners to help.  One listener said citronella collar... fail!  Another said lay him on his side, put your hands right under his neck, and tell him no... another fail!!  Kennel him up EVERY TIME he barks... so 24-7?  Fail!  I've tried the shock collar before and it worked for a couple weeks, but he outsmarted me!  He knew when he had it on.  Butthead!  Well, today, I'm dropping him off to get his neck shaved again (that's the only way the collar even works, thanks to his crazy mane).  Then that collar is going back on!  Happy quiet (fingers crossed) Mother's Day to me!
