Four Rochester Women Make The Vikings Cheer Squad

Forty-two women have been selected for the 2016 Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders team, including four from Rochester.

An updated photo gallery of this year's group, which includes Emma, Brooklyn, Kayla C, and Danielle all from Rochester, was uploaded earlier this afternoon on vikings.com.

The women are obviously excited for the opportunity. This morning, Emma shared this message on Facebook, "Beyond honored and excited to be able to say that I'll have the privilege to wear the white boots as a Rookie in US Bank stadium this upcoming season. SKOL VIKES!!!"

The Vikings' first game in their new stadium will be a preseason game on August 28th against San Diego. Their regular season home opener is September 18th. That game against rival Green Bay will be the featured Sunday night game of the week.
