Help Stewartville Build Two New Playgrounds

Coming soon to an area near you, TWO new playgrounds, and YOU can actually help build them! 

The Stewartville School District is looking for volunteers to help build two new playgrounds. One at the new Bear Cave Intermediate school, and the other at the Central Education Center. "No construction experience is needed, so everyone can get involved! Each build will be led by a Game-Time certified community build expert. We will provide refreshments (food and beverages) for all of our volunteers! There will also be bathrooms on site as well" according to the school district.

The playground that has stood at Central Intermediate for the past 18 years is retiring! It will be torn down and replaced with a brand new playground. Central Intermediate will home the early childhood and tiger tot programs starting with the 2016-17 school year.

The Central Intermediate school playground building project will take place on July 16 and 17, 2016.

The new Bear Cave Intermediate school playground building project will happen on July 23 and 24. Bear Cave Intermediate will be the new home for grades 3-5 in Stewartville.
