Minnesota State Fair Announces New Food For 2015

It's hard to believe that the Minnesota State Fair is right around the corner. This year's fair runs from Aug. 27 through Sept. 7. Attendees of this year's Great Minnesota Get Together will be able to choose from nearly 500 food items at the 300 different vendor locations.

Some of the new foods this year include:

The Burger Dog - A blend of hamburger, hot dog, bacon, cheese, and jalapeño on a hot dog bun. It will be sold at Gass Station Grill.

Cowboy Dave's Cluck & Moo - This sloppy mess features smashed potatoes, roast beef and grilled chicken topped with gravy, onions, mustard and BBQ sauce.  It's available at The Blue Barn.

Deep Fried Ribs will be served at the Ball Park Cafe.

Mac & Cheese Cupcakes frosted with Cheez Whiz can be found at LuLu's Public House.

Maple Bacon Funnel Cake will be sold at the Food Building.

SPAM Burgers - In 5 New Flavors: Jalapeño, Hot & Spicy, Bacon, Hickory Smoke and Black Pepper can be found at the SPAM Burger booth.

Grandma Deb’s Snicker Bar Salad will be available at The Blue Barn. It features chunks of Snickers bars and apples tossed in vanilla pudding with whipped cream and topped off with caramel sauce
