Travel will be very dangerous. The National Weather Service in La Crosse issued this update: A precipitation spreads in tonight, it will gradually shift over to snow, especially over parts of northern Iowa, southeast Minnesota, into western and northern Wisconsin. Snow accumulations could become heavy early Friday impacting the commute in some areas, before precipitation changes over to all snow by Friday night. Blizzard conditions are possible west of the Mississippi River early Friday. Travel could become dangerous in the warned areas.
Dunken and Samm will provide updated information on road-conditions and closing and delays tomorrow morning. Several schools in our area have already called off classes.
