Solo. That’s the title of the upcoming Star Wars Story spinoff that follows the adventures of a young Han Solo, played by Alden Ehrenreich. After months of speculation, a change in directors, and reshoots, Ron Howard finally revealed the official title of the project — formerly operating under the working title “Red Cup” — on his Twitter account today in a special message to fans.

Solo. Actually, according to the logo featured in the video, the full title is
Solo: A Star Wars Story.

So(lo) there you have it. Simple, direct, and not very surprising. It’s a solid title, for sure.

In addition to Ehrenreich, Solo stars Donald Glover as young Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Han’s mentor, Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the franchise’s first female droid, and Emilia Clarke as the mysterious Kira. Also on board are Thandie Newton, Paul Bettany (who came to the project during reshoots to replace a CGI character played by Michael K. Williams), and Joonas Suotamo as young Chewie.

Solo: A Star Wars Story arrives in theaters on May 25, 2018.
