Prince Tribute Scam Happening in Rochester

'The Prince Experience' is Oct. 28th at the Wicked Moose with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester. 

Jodi Millerbernd, the Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club, warns of scammers selling fake tickets to the event here in Rochester:

It has been brought to our attention that our upcoming event, The Prince Experience, is being promoted and concert tickets sold door-to-door by an individual(s) claiming to be a representative of Boys & Girls Club of Rochester. This is a scam. Our Club does not and has never conducted fundraising efforts through door-to-door solicitations. Boys & Girls Club of Rochester operates with integrity; and, we hope you expect us and every other organization you support to be accountable for each dollar you donate. It saddens us to know that the generosity of good people in our community is being taken advantage of."

Tickets to 'The Prince Experience' are only being sold online or at two places: Boys & Girls Club of Rochester (8:00 am - 4:00 pm) and Wicked Moose Bar and Grill.
