It's the middle of October but yesterday felt like a warm July day.  The average high temp for this time of the year is 61°.  It was well above average yesterday as temps soared into the upper-80s and in some cases the upper-90s across the region.

Record temps were set all across the state. The unofficial high temp for Rochester was 84° which is a new record but isn't even close to as warm as it got in other locations around Minnesota. Low-90s were recorded in several spots and Moorhead and Wheaton (west central Minnesota) had the warmest temps yesterday at 97°

Hope you enjoyed it because much more seasonable weather returns this week. Highs are expected to be in the upper-50s to lower-60s. A wind advisory is in effect today for our listening area from 10am to 6pm with westerly winds blowing 20-30 mph.
