Severe Weather Possible Tonight

The National Weather Service in La Crosse is asking people to be "weather aware" today and tonight.

Severe thunderstorms are possible for the KROC listening area this evening. If you have any outdoor plans make sure to watch the forecast for developments. Dangerous storms can and do pop up quickly.

The NWS posted a weather map, which you can see below, that highlights the KROC listening area as having the highest risk of severe weather tonight. Storms are possible mainly between 7:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.

The main threat tonight will be heavy rain, lightening and damaging winds. Hail and isolated tornadoes are also possible.
