There were few clouds in the sky across southeastern Minnesota last night which made the view of the Supermoon Eclipse perfect!

Lunar eclipses are common and happen twice a year. However, supermoon eclipes are considered very rare. The last time a supermoon eclipse occurred was back in 1982, and experts say there won't be another one until 2033.
