The Annual List Of Words That Should Be Banned

Lake Superior State University in Michigan publishes a list of words that need to banned every year based on nominations from people around the world. Here are the words that we need to eliminate in 2015:

1.  "Bae" was easily the top choice. ("before anyone else" or just a shorter version of the word baby.)

2.  "Polar vortex."

3.  "Hack" . . . specifically how it's overused now, where any tip is referred to as a "hack."

4.  "Skill set."

5.  "Swag."

6.  "Foodie."

7.  "Cray-cray."

8.  "Nation"  When used as a suffix referring to sports teams.  Like "Packer nation."
