Is it just me, or did 2015 fly by? How much of your bucket list did you complete? As I'm sitting here thinking how January is almost over ALREADY, I'm running through a list of things I still wish to accomplish in the near future.

At nearly 28 years old, my bucket list has changed tremendously. The "go skydiving" and "zip lining" is now replaced by "get married" and "have a baby." I feel like I've accomplished SO much in my years.

As a high school student I was able to play in state basketball AND softball tournaments. Not to mention, I was given more awards than a kid could hope for!

In my early-20's I was more adventurous, traveling a lot and challenging myself to more daring things like skydiving, snorkeling, zip lining, hot air balloon riding, and parasailing.

My mid-20's brought my "knight in shining armor" and his little side kick, the sparkly ring, the purchase of a house, and adopting a new fur baby!

What more could a girl ask for? While I feel that I've been through so much (good and bad), and was forced to grow up entirely too quickly, my life has most definitely taken a wonderful shape. Next week I will celebrate six years of being your KROC morning show girl! Come April, I will say "I do" on a sunny beach! What's next?

Samm's Bucket List as of 2016:

  • See Paris! This has been the number one thing on my list for as long as I can remember having a list. I'm currently working on learning French, with plans to visit Paris with my love for my 30th birthday!
  • Be debt free! I didn't realize how important this was to me until I started considering purchasing a house. How I wish I could have started working toward this much sooner in my life.
  • Have a baby. While I already have a "baby" at home (I am a step-mom!), I've always wanted two! Being a step-mom has been one of the most challenging, yet rewarding things of my life! I FINALLY understand why moms post a million pictures of their babies on Facebook, as that little man is always on my mind, and one of the few things I ALWAYS talk about! People that have never had a "step" relationship with someone, will never truly understand just how difficult it is. "Loving your own kids is easy. Loving another woman's children as your own is what makes step-moms special"
  • With that being said, continuing to be the absolute best that I can be for that kid is also high on my bucket list!
