Do you brush twice a day, floss, then rinse with mouthwash? If you answered yes - you're doing better than most but you're still probably doing it wrong. Only one in four adults admit to not brushing twice a day, roughly one-third are rinsing with mouthwash and just over one-in-five use dental floss.

Good To Know magazine recently published an article on oral hygiene, and a dentist in England says you should FLOSS first to get food particles loose, then RINSE with mouthwash, and finish by brushing your teeth.  Now you know.

Dr. Matthew Lloyd told the magazine,"It's better to remove plaque and food debris with floss before rinsing the bacteria away with mouth wash. Ideally, you should finish your oral care routine by brushing your teeth.  That way, the toothpaste stays in contact with your teeth and gums for longer and will provide better protection."
