Perhaps like many of you out there, I can't cook worth a lick. But that doesn't stop me from making some of my favorites snacks for one of the biggest games of the year.

Earlier this week I got a call from a friend who said her husband switched gears on her and decided to host a Super Bowl party at their house instead. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but there's one small problem: both she nor her husband can cook.

I said who cares, because nobody's really paying attention to the spread you lay out since everyone's watching the game or laughing at the commercials.

In any case, I asked for her email and said I had a few recipes my family likes to whip up for occasions like this that are super easy to make, regardless of how well you know your way around the kitchen.

So below I'll provide three snack ideas and one hors d'oeuvre recipe that'll for sure cover up any gaping holes on your table:

    Extremely Addicting Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is a staple snack at every party in our household, no matter what the occasion may be. With only 4 ingredients needed, you just toss them all in a crock pot and let it all fuse into one delicious melody within a few short hours. Eat with chips, or crackers. But just make sure you scoop yourself up some before its too late, because it'll go QUICK!

    Oyster/Pretzel Snacks

These are perfect for snacking, and super easy to whip up in 10 minutes. You can also try sprinkling parmesan cheese in the bag instead of lemon pepper. I always make sure to keep a separate stash for soups and chili's later too. Soooo good!

    Veggie Dip

Can't have all unhealthy choices on here, can we? My wife swears by this recipe and it's always included whenever we have company over. Again, super easy to whip up and serve in a short amount of time.

    Sweet & Delicious Chicken Wings

Ahhh, the crown jewel of our Super Bowl and even Christmas parties! My mom found this recipe when I was in high school almost 20 years ago, and she's served them almost every year since. While this one takes some extra preparation, the payoff when they're done is totally worth it! I love my wings with a little extra crunch, so you really just have to go by your instincts when cooking them in the oven. I guarantee these will be a hit at your house this weekend, or anytime you throw your next party!
